Is my account number the same as my policy number

Depending on the type of insurance your policy number and account number can be different. In general, however, both numbers will be able to lead you to the information needed. If you have any questions please let us know!

Can I apply for individual health insurance outside of open-enrollment?

Yes. If you have a qualifying life event (QLE) you may enroll 60 days before or after loss of minimum essential coverage. The effective date of coverage will be the first day of the month following the loss of coverage and receipt of completed application and acceptable supporting documentation. If you do not have proof of a qualifying event you can still apply but there will be a 90 day waiting period.
